Dit certificaat moet de bestuurder altijd bij zich hebben voor het geval dat de politie een controle houd. Elektrische scooters die zijn gekocht voor 22 januari 2024, moeten maar vanaf 2027 een certificaat hebben.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>De regels en verplichtingen zijn:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maximale snelheid is 25km\/h.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Geen passagiers toegelaten. Boete 100\u20ac.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Verkeersborden respecteren zoals elke weggebruiker.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Helm is verplicht.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Akoestisch waarschuwingsapparaat is verplicht (bel).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Achter- en voorlichten en reflecterende voorzieningen zijn s&#8217;avonds verplicht. Boete 200\u20ac.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">De elektrische scooter moet verplicht twee remmen hebben, voor en achter.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Elektronische steps mogen niet op trottoirs circuleren en het is verboden om te reizen op interstedelijke wegen, kruispunten, snelwegen, of stedelijke tunnels.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">De chauffeurs zijn onderworpen aan dezelfde maximale alcoholniveaus die zijn toegestaan \u200b\u200bdoor de verkeersveiligheidswet, evenals aan het verbod om te rijden onder invloed van drugs. Boete kan oplopen tussen 500\u20ac en 1000\u20ac.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bestuurders mogen tijdens het rijden geen koptelefoon dragen of een mobiele telefoon of een ander apparaat gebruiken. Boete is 200\u20ac.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De elektrische scooter heeft geen verplichte ITV (Schouwing) nodig, maar wel een periodiek onderhoud nodig met de bijbehorende controles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Het wordt niet aanbevolen om het te gebruiken als er kapotte onderdelen zijn, als de levensduur van de batterij aanzienlijk is afgenomen, als er lekken in de banden zijn of slijtage.
